About my Nova:
This was a two year project. Almost all of the sheet metal on the car is new,
including Quarters, door skins, panel between back glass and trunk, hood, and
left front fender, plus new bumpers, grill and some of the molding. The molding
and trim parts that aren't new have been re-furbished.
Both front and rear sub-frames were removed from the car and replaced by a full
frame fabricated by myself from 2"X3" rectangular tubing. I channeled the car 2"
on the new frame and fabricated the complete front suspension.
The Nova has a new ZZ4 GM Performance crate engine with fast burn aluminum heads
and hot cam kit (all GM) bringing it to 430 HP and 430 Ft-Lbs of torque @ 5800
RPM, with a 700R4 Trans and 9" Ford rear with 370:1 gears and Auburn Pro Posi
unit.
The Nova is a pleasure to drive whether its on back roads or on the Interstate.
On the Interstate at 75MPH it'll get you 19+MPG, with AC, PS, Cruise, Tilt and
other creature comforts. It'll take you anywhere you want to go, in comfort and
fairly good economy.
I've built many cars in my time, but this one is definitely my favorite. It has
exceeded my expectations.
